Meet the Honorees

Photo of Jodi and Robbie Groff, this year's gala honorees.

Jodi and Robbie Groff are an exemplary Heschel family with their devotion to and love for our school. They have deep roots in the area, as they were both raised in the North Valley. For over 50 years, Robbie’s family has owned and operated Northwest Excavating Inc. in Northridge where Robbie serves as Vice President. The company prides itself on its long-standing relationships and loyalty to its customers, employees, and the local community. Jodi’s family has long been tied to Heschel; she is a Heschel alumna from the class of 1987 and her mother was a member of the Board of Directors in the 1980s and Board President from 1990-1992. Jodi has dedicated herself to serving at Heschel by volunteering in myriad positions in the past ten years which has led to her most recent roles on the Executive Parent Organization Board and the Board of Directors. The Groff’s are the proud parents of two daughters, Estee and Marlie (’21).
