Accessibility Statement
We want everyone who visits the Heschel website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding.
What are we doing?
To help us make the Heschel website a positive place for everyone, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.
The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level A as the target for the Heschel website.
How are we doing?
We're working hard to achieve our goal of Level A accessibility, but we realise there are some areas that still need improving. The following information explains what we're doing to make that happen.
-Creating alternative text for non-text elements.
-Using instructions for understanding and operating content that avoid using shape, size, visual location, orientation or sounds.
-Utilizing a webmaster that:
- Regularly updates software and internal practices to follow WCAG 2 and it's universal accessibility guidelines.
- Continuously has accessibility fixes released in software updates, as well as new features added to help manage accessibility.
- Works diligently to identify common barriers or missing features in our site and create global fixes to remediate them.
