Project Chesed (caring) reflects our school’s commitment to tikkun olam (repairing the world) and exposes students to needs for social action around the world. At each grade level, students participate in service projects that are linked to values and to the curriculum. Not only do students reach out to others through fund-raising and direct interactions, but also, students read, research, meet guest speakers and community representatives, and build a meaningful and age-appropriate connection to their community.
