Giving to Heschel

For 36 years, Abraham Joshua Heschel Day School has been the recipient of extraordinary financial generosity from its most ardent supporters: parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends.  This continuing philanthropy enables AJHDS to build young lives that find meaning through educated leadership, informed citizenship, compassionate involvement, and a lifelong commitment to the Jewish people.

It is a fact that academic excellence depends upon financial health. The generosity of AJHDS’ community has had, and continues to have, a positive impact on our academic excellence. Your gifts ensure the future of the School; a future that provides students with exceptional academic programs, high-quality faculty, and first-rate facilities.

A high participation percentage among alumni and parents helps us successfully solicit grants from foundations and other sources of revenue. Corporations and foundations often look to the number of donors when making grants, so your gift can actually encourage additional gifts. Also, many companies have matching-gift programs to maximize the charitable gifts of their employees. Check with your human resources department for details.

Gifts can be made by check, credit card, and securities. Heschel now accepts Visa, MasterCard, and American Express over the phone at 818.368.5781 x402 and online.

Although Heschel Fund gifts will be accepted anytime during the year, the 2007-2008 fiscal year begins July 1, 2007, and ends June 30, 2008. Early gifts and pledges reduce mailings and overhead costs, saving Heschel Fund dollars for use in academics and other school programs.

You can ensure the future of Heschel—a future that provides students with exceptional academic programs, high-quality faculty, and first-rate facilities. Please consider making a tax-deductible gift to Heschel today!
