Giving to Heschel
Shirley G. Levine Memorial Fund
Donations to the memory of Shirley G. Levine can be made to Abraham Joshua Heschel Day School. Tribute cards will be sent. Proceeds will go to Heschel Day School to continue to enrich the school as envisioned by Shirley Levine.
The Heschel Fund
Giving to the Heschel Fund is the most important gift you can make all year. Contributions to the Heschel Fund augment the school's current operating budget, help to cover tuition, meet faculty salaries, support professional development, and more. Every gift, regardless of size, matters.
Endowment
Endowment funds are our safeguard for the school's long-term well-being. An endowment is a fund in which the principal is protected in perpetuity while a small percentage of the interest income is applied to certain areas of need. Heschel's endowment fund is made up of many separate funds.
The following endowments provide funding for financial assistance:
Kurland Family Endowment
Marine Family Memorial Endowment
Shirley Levine Endowment
The Gerald and Deana Stempler Endowment provides funding for Judaic Studies curriculum.
Capital Campaign: Renovate our Classsrooms
Capital giving enables Heschel to build new facilities and to renovate classrooms and existing structures. At this time, we are soliciting funds for renovation of the classrooms; we have completed five and anticipate remodeling all.
