Heschel Day School, an independent community day school, was founded in 1972 and maintains a strong tradition of education devoted to our namesake’s values: integrity, justice, intellectual curiosity, and empathy. Fundamental to our philosophy is the development of each individual learner to reach his or her highest potential in both general and Judaic studies, thereby enabling each student to attain a love of learning, sound self-esteem, and a positive Jewish identification.

We are currently accepting applications for the 2012-2013 school year for transitional kindergarten through eighth grade. This is going to be an exciting year for us as we are celebrating being “40 years young”. We look forward to welcoming you on campus and sharing more about our unique community.
